Rosalie the Dog needs a home
Rosalie is a 2-1/2 yr old staffy mix surrendered by her owner who no longer wanted her. She was terrified initially but has warmed up beautifully. We know Rosalie had a rough past as she was used only as a breeder dog, but she has a heart of gold. She adores the children in her foster home and she gets along with her canine foster brothers and sisters wonderfully. Rosalie will run and play outside and then she will come inside and relax with the family. She is the best of both worlds. She loves to curl up and take naps on your lap, yes she thinks she is a lap dog and we haven't had the heart to tell her otherwise. She loves belly rubs and giving kisses.
Rosalie is current on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She is current on monthly heartworm preventative and flea preventative and has tested heartworm negative.

Our adoptions include a foster period of 4-6 weeks so that you can be sure that this pet is a good fit without any pressure, and we are available to answer any behavior or training questions during that time (and beyond, if you wish).

Local adoptions preferred (within Greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes). We do not ship animals, as a part of our adoption process is for the potential adopter(s) to meet the dog to assess if he/she is a match for the family.
